Prepare your source file and download the result as a PDF.

Upload your design as a PDF, JPG, or PNG. For the best print quality, use a PDF or a high-resolution image.

After generating the file, download the PDF and open it in a PDF reader. Check the numbers and their positions before sending the document to a print shop.

Exporting and importing settings

Exporting lets you save a numbering configuration and reuse it later without manually setting every parameter. Save separate configurations for tickets, vouchers, or forms to easily repeat jobs or transfer settings to another computer.

From setup to reuse
  1. Configure the form
  2. Export settings
  3. Keep the CSV file
  4. Load the file and select a template
  5. Check the restored form

Export settings

  1. Configure the numbering parameters in the form.
  2. In “Other”, under “Export settings”, enter a recognizable name in “Name this settings configuration”, such as “A4 Voucher”.
  3. Click “Save form data”. Your browser will download numerator_dane.csv.
  4. Keep the file. You can rename it to distinguish your configurations, keeping the .csv extension.

The CSV is a text file with field headers and one row of settings. Values are separated by semicolons. Each export saves the current configuration without appending it to a previously loaded file.

Import settings

  1. Open the numbering form and go to “Other”, then “Import settings”.
  2. In “File in CSV format.”, select a previously saved .csv file.
  3. Click “Load settings from file”. Configurations from the file appear in the “Templates” list. Loading the file alone does not change the numbering parameters.
  4. Select the saved configuration in “Templates”. Only this selection copies its values into the form fields.
  5. Check the settings and select the design (background) file again if you use one. Then click “Generate numbers”. Importing does not generate a PDF automatically.

What is saved?

  • The configuration name.
  • Sheet and item dimensions, row and column counts, coordinate system, centering, and item positions.
  • Numbering mode, starting number, and the selected range end or number count and its value.
  • Leading-zero padding and text before and after the number.
  • Position, font, size, alignment, rotation, and color components for four numbering positions, plus the color model.
  • Crop marks and the option to print frames.

If a background file was selected during export, the CSV also contains its filename. Unchecked checkboxes are saved as empty values and are unchecked when you select the template.

What does export leave out?

The CSV does not contain the uploaded PDF, image, or other background file, the generated PDF, or any other user files. It also does not save the list of loaded templates or form controls such as buttons and the active tab.

This saves settings, rather than a complete document or design. Keep the background and finished PDF separately.

If settings were not loaded

  • “No file selected.” means you must first select a CSV file. Import also rejects unsupported file formats.
  • If “Templates” is empty, check that the file contains a settings row in addition to the headers. After loading the file, you must still select a configuration from this list.
  • Using the original PDFNumbering export is the most reliable approach. If you edit the CSV, preserve the column names and semicolon separator; import reads the file as UTF-8.
  • Check the restored values before generating the PDF. Loading the file does not confirm that all parameters are valid.
